Well, I
ended up liking this little foreign language space. I like the process of
translating the feelings and ideas on my mind to another way of expression,
another representation system similar in many ways but different in fact. In a
subtle way it’s like putting things backwards to me. It’s another route to
express ideas, an exit door on the back of my mind. I really like that about language,
how every culture modifies it at the time that gets used, like a tale that writes
itself as we tell it. In this case, Spanish and English dialects shares some
root, the Romance languages, that’s why so many words sounds and writes almost
the same on both languages. I think that understanding that fact helps me a lot
on my learning of this language, but the key for me is try to “think in
English” directly, not try translate what I’m thinking on my mind.
This blogs
helps me a lot on that purpose, that’s why I like it, and now I think that is
so much easier to me to express myself, at least on the paper, which I think
that’s a previous step on the way of mastering the language.
